Zoraida R. OrtizZoraida R. Ortiz died on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Manor Care in Huntingdon Valley. She was 97.Born and raised in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico, Mrs. Ortiz came to the United States in the late 1940's.After the death of her beloved husband, Mrs. Ortiz began a working career for a packaging company in Morrisville for many years.Mrs. Ortiz enjoyed cooking and crocheting and loved her family and friends near.She was a very hard worker and loved volunteering at the Morrisville Senior Center.Mrs. Ortiz is the beloved wife of the late Eduardo Ortiz; the mother of the late Luz A. Gautieri and Adamina Lackey; and sister of the late Adela Benitez. She is survived by her loving children, Delia Mansfield (Raymond) Feasterville, Edward Ortiz (Patricia) of Quakertown and Fredesvinda Gonzalez (Carlos) of Colorado. Mrs. Ortiz also will be sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; her sisters, Antonia Balliestieri of New Jersey, Espenranza Firpo of Puerto Rico and many nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will be held privately.
