Mr. Allen J. McKenney, age 73, formerly of Connecticut and Auburn and Mexico, Maine, died Thursday morning November 3rd at the Pinnacle Health and Rehabilitation Center in Canton Maine. He was born in Brunswick on March 26, 1943, a son of Valentine and Marguerite (Tripp) McKenney and was educated in Brunswick schools.
Mr. McKenney was a Military Veteran having served in the U.S. Army until his Honorable Discharge and also served in the Army Reserves. Allen worked for many years as a photographer and also in photography sales and service. Among his favorite enjoyments in his leisure time were playing guitar and painting on canvas.
Allen leaves behind two sisters Laura Trenoweth of Rumford and Donna McKenney of CT and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters Rose Brocket and Linda Closson.

Private committal prayers with Military Honors will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family at Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Augusta.
