

Lewiston - Alphonse L. Theberge, 77 of Lewiston passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at St. Mary's d'Youville Pavilion following a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer`s Disease. He was born in Rumford, August 6, 1935 son of the late Michel and Anna Bard Theberge. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was married to Doris Doyon Oct. 3, 1959.
Al was employed for 42 years at Enterprise Foundry prior to his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and working around his camp. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family along with Gizmo and Bailey. He is survived by his wife, Doris of Lewiston; a daughter, Tina Ames and husband Timothy of Sabattus; two sons, Richard Theberge of Lewiston and Gary Theberge of New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Brian, Kassandra and Kelsey Ames; a great grandson, Brayden ; a sister, Gertrude Parkhurst and husband John of York and a brother, Normand Theberge and wife Erika of Sabattus and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Carol; three sisters, Dorothy Langevin, Jeanne Foley and Fernande Champagne; three brothers, Lorenzo, John and Harold Theberge.
