

She was born in Lewiston, Maine on February 4, 1928, the daughter of Joseph Gagne and Ophelia Landry Gagne.
Anita worked as a top stitcher at Falcon Shoe. After retirement, she and her husband Roger cleaned part time at F.X. Marcotte.
She loved her family, enjoyed traveling, camping with friends and family, playing cards, knitting, reading and word search.
Anita is predeceased by her parents, her beloved son, Gary and their dog, Suzette, her loving husband, Roger Chamberlain, sisters Jeannette Lacasse and Doris Masse.
Anita will be sadly missed by her daughter, June Chamberland Boisvert, and her partner, Pete Bernier, as well as her daughter-in-law, Claudette Chamberland Jordan, and her husband, Michael. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Eric Boisvert, whom she was a very attentive grandmother to; Melissa Chamberland Lebrun and her husband, Shawn; Tammy Deraps Chamberland; and Amy Nadeau and her husband, Paul. Her great-grandchildren are Oliver Boisvert, Maxwell Boisvert, Tom Murphy Jr., Dakota Lebrun, Brayden Deraps, Riley Deraps, Paul Nadeau Jr., Colby Nadeau, and Paige Nadeau; and her great-great-grandchild, Grayson Deraps.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday, October 3 at 11AM at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus Street Lewiston, Maine. Committal Prayers will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Deer Road Lewiston, Maine.
