Ashley M. Gilbert

Turner-Ashley Hoffman Gilbert, 37, a resident of Jay passed away on November 17, 2022, in Turner. She was born September 6, 1985 in Lewiston to Michael and Linda Hoffman. Ashley graduated from Lewiston High School in 2004.

Ashley met the love of her life Jacob Gilbert in September of 2004 and they were married September 28, 2019, in Lewiston. Together they raised their two beautiful children, Coltin and Cassidee Gilbert. Ashley loved her children, family, and friends like no other. She worked many years in child care, and most recently in the Home Health field - She was a favorite of the children and clients alike. Ashley meant the world to so many with her beautiful smile, and her kind soul. It’s our true belief that her heart was too big for this world. She will be missed by so many. Ashley was one of a kind: the kind that made everyone feel special and blessed to have known her.

She is survived by her loving husband Jacob Gilbert and their two children Coltin and Cassidee of Jay; her parents Michael and Linda Hoffman of Lewiston; brother Michael James Hoffman of Lewistown; grandfather Albert Pelletier and his partner JoAnn Levesque; Aunt Theresa Laverdiere and her husband Dennis; Aunt Kelly Clements and her husband John; Aunt Debbie Brown; Uncle Richard Hoffman; cousins Amy, Ryan, and Haley; nephew Doiminic; the entire Gilbert Family; and so many friends. She was predeceased by her grandmother Trudy Pelletier and grandfather Allen Hoffman.

We would like to thank everyone who has helped during this most difficult time. Our circle of family, friends, and community is like no other.

A celebration if Ashley’s life will be held on Friday Nov. 25th 2022 at 6:00PM in the funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday Nov. 25th from 3-6PM at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway Lewiston, Maine 04240. 784-4023.
