Bertha Dionne

She was born in Lewiston, Maine on April 21, 1927 the daughter of Nazaire and Helena Bourgoin Beaulieu.

She was very dedicated to her family and enjoyed family get togethers where she could highlight her cooking skills. She was a skilled seamstress who made clothes and numerous hooked rugs which are treasured by her grandchildren. She was also very religious and prayed for us all.

She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Maurice Dionne as well as her six siblings.

She is survived by her sons and spouses, Maurice and Rita as well as Richard and Cathy Dionne. She is also survived by her grandchildren Rebecca Hill, Elizabeth Dionne Sherrock, Ashley Wiers and Benjamin Dionne; five great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces; as well as dedicated friends.

We wish to thank the staff at Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Home for their excellent care and attention to our Mother.

A Funeral Mass honoring Bertha’s life will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Church. Family and friends wishing may meet at the funeral home for 9:45 AM to go in procession from the funeral home to the church. Committal services will then follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery following the Mass.

At the family’s request there will not be any visitation.
