Carol Johnson

1941-2021

Minot-Carol A. Johnson, 79, of Minot, Maine, passed away peacefully at CMMC ICU with her loving family by her side on Sunday December 12, 2021. She was born to Henry and Hazel (Pray) Johnson on December 27, 1941. She graduated from ELHS, class of 1960.

Carol married George R. Johnson on February 1,1964 in Brunswick, Maine, and had three children. She worked many years at GE and LL Bean retiring in 2007. Carol loved spending time with her children and grandchildren going to cookouts, holidays and trips to the coast; Reid State Park being her favorite.

Carol is survived by her children; Staci Johnson, Scott Johnson and wife Christine Johnson, Sheri Johnson and fiancé Steve Teehan; grandsons Matthew, Robbie, Zachary, Benjamin, Avery and Gavan; granddaughters Shelbi and Isabelle; great-grandsons Brody and Noah; great-granddaughters Mikenna, Piper, Ellie and Everleigh.

She was predeceased by George, her husband of 56 years; parents, Henry and Hazel; brother Gerald; sisters Edna and Shirley; granddaughter Samantha; great-granddaughter Mikailee; nephew Jeffrey.

There will be a celebration of life for Carol and George Johnson at a later date.

Visitation will be held Monday December 20th 4:30pm to 5:30pm at The Fortin Group 70 Horton St. Lewiston. A liturgy of the word will follow at 5:30pm at The Fortin Group 70 Horton St. Lewiston.
