Cecile S. Allen

AUBURN - Cecile S. Allen, 86, a resident of 185 Summer Street, Auburn died Sunday afternoon at the Auburn Residential Home. She was born in Lewiston, June 23, 1922, the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Bolduc) Caron. She was educated in Lewiston schools and worked in area shoe shops before retiring in 1984. She married Arthur Allen on September 12, 1947 and he died September 27, 1997. Survivors include two sons, Ralph Caron and his wife, Ann; and Robert Caron all of Sabattus; one daughter, Rita Miller and her husband, Larry of Elkridge, Maryland; a special aunt, Juliette Boulanger of Lewiston; as well as several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Vera Miller Carmack, Jennifer Miller Raccuglia, and Eric Miller all of Maryland and 5 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Annette Grenier. ALLEN died in Auburn, September 14, 2008, Mrs. Cecile S. Allen age 86 years formerly of Sabattus. A Memorial Mass of Christian burial honoring Cecile's life will be held SATURDAY September 27th at 11AM at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Sabattus.
