

She was born in Phillips, March 21,1914 the daughter of the late Everett and Annie Carson Bean Beedy.
Clara was married April 18, 1936 to Appleton E. Ford who predeceased her in 1984.
Prior to her retirement she was employed as head housekeeper at the Pineland Center in New Gloucester. She was a member of the Congregational Church of New Gloucester where she was active in the Ladies Circle and the Evening Guild. She was also a member of the Pine Cone Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, the Society of Mayflower Descendants, the DAR and the Maine State Employees Association.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Bradbury and husband Fred of Lewiston; a daughter-in-law, Avis Ford of New Gloucester; four grandchildren, Dana Bradbury and wife Jennifer, Lorraine Knight and husband Christopher, Jason Bradbury and wife Tina and Joelle MacDonald and husband Thomas and seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Edward Ford, a sister and two brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service Tuesday, 1:00 PM at the New Gloucester Congregational Church. Burial will be private at Lower Gloucester Cemetery at a later date.
