AUBURN: Conrad J. Gervais, 87, of Lewiston peacefully passed away on Monday May 21, 2018 at the Hospice House in Auburn with his loving family by his side. He was born in Grand Isle, ME on March 8, 1931 a son of the late Edward and Ida (Pelletier) Gervais. At a young age he and his family moved to Lewiston and he was educated in local schools. In 1948, Conrad enlisted in and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Upon his discharge in 1952, he married the love of his life, Lorraine Blais on October 4, 1952 at Holy Family Church in Lewiston. They then started a family together. During that time he worked at Bates Mill, Belgrade Shoe and as a Union Carpenter \ Mill Rite until his retirement. Conrad will always be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing and camping. He also found great pleasure in working in his garden and spending quality time with his family. He will be deeply missed by many.
Conrad is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Lorraine Gervais of Lewiston, his children; Conrad "Louie" Gervais, Jr. and his wife Rachel of Poland, Stella Lemieux and her husband Daniel of Auburn and Susan Ricker and partner Donald Blanchette of Poland. He also leaves behind his siblings; Normand, Phillipe, Emery "Mickey", Eloi "Curly" and his wife Lucy, Lee and his wife Diane and Clemence Nadeau and her husband Lucien as well as his 6 grandchildren; Levi and his fiancée Courtney, Dustin and his wife Amy, Stephanie and her fiancée Glenn, Christopher and his partner Jess, Jason, Brian and his fiancée Nicole, 9 great-grandchildren; Kyleigh, Marilyn, Brooke, Isabelle, Cameron, Damian, Laila, Cassia and Donny. He was predeceased by his son, Stephen, his siblings; Richard, Angelo, Gene and Jackie.

Visiting hours will be held at Fortin\Lewiston on Friday May 25, 2018 from 4-7pm. A prayer service will take place also at Fortin\Lewiston on Saturday May 26, 2018 at 11am. Graveside committal prayers will be said on Tuesday May 29, 2018 at 11am.
