

Auburn- Constance Y. Chabot 75 of Trapp Rd. Auburn died peacefully, Monday March 10, 2014 at her home, with her loving husband by her side. She was born in Lewiston on October 10, 1938 a daughter of the late Luc and Germaine (Callier) Goyette. Constance married the love of her life, John A. Chabot on July 5, 1961 and together they settled in Auburn to raise their five children. She was a former member of St. Louis and was now attending Holy Cross Church. She enjoyed cooking, canning, playing cards, scrapbooking but above all spending time with her family, in particular her grandchildren, at the many family events they celebrated such as lobster feeds and bonfires. Her true pride and joy were her seven grandchildren, she loved spending time with them. She was a lady who was full of life and will be truly missed by her family and friends. She leaves her husband of 52 years John A. Chabot of Auburn, her five children: Lisa Roy and her husband Michael Parkin of Auburn, Linda Cielinski and husband Stan, of Topsham, Steven Chabot and wife Pamela of Fitzwilliam, NH, Laura D'Auteuil and husband Dan of Lewiston and Laurie Oakes and husband Kalle of Monmouth, four sisters: Theresa Michaud of Auburn, Jeannine Berube and husband Bob of Lewiston, Anita Canuel and husband Roland of Lewiston and Lorraine Chicoine and husband Bob of Livermore, three brothers Bert Goyette of Lewiston, Raymond Goyette and wife Pauline of Windham and Marcel Goyette and wife Irene of Sabattus, and her seven loving grandchildren: Colby Roy, Evan Roy, Jared Cielinski, Megan Dever, Stephen Oakes, Devon D'Auteuil and Joshua D'Auteuil. She was predeceased by her two sisters Georgette Plourde, and Rita Levesque, and three brothers Conrad, Robert and Rene Goyette. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday March 19, 2014 at 11 AM at Holy Cross Church. Committal will be held in the spring at Mt. Hope Cemetery. A service of The Fortin Group Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services 70 Horton St. LEWISTON 784-4584.
