Dale William Barry

He was born on November 16, 1933, a son to Maurice and Belva Barry. He was raised in Auburn Maine, and attended Edward Little High School. Dale also attended several colleges and obtained a Master's Degree in engineering. Dale joined the Air Force in 1951. He was a very proud, and honored veteran.

Dale was married to Florence Ann Pepin, and the two were happily married for 62 years until her passing on Dec 1st 2013.  He then married Patricia De Ann Shay/Pepin, and the pair were happily married for 8 years until Dale's passing.

In his career, Dale worked as a United States Air Force Flight Engineer, Lewiston Police Officer, and a State of Maine Job Recruiter.

When Dale wasn't working, he loved flying planes, riding dirt bikes, and spending time with family.

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Florence Barry, his son Michael Barry, and his grandchild Bobby Hayward.

Dale is survived by his beloved wife Patricia De Ann Barry, his daughter Darlene Hayward, and husband Rick, his son David Barry, his grandchildren Nick Barry, Amanda Ten Eyck, Ryan Barry, Jessica Barry, Jenna Barry, and Ricky Hayward, as well as his ten great-grandchildren.

A Liturgy of the Word will be held on Monday, February 3rd, 2025 at 11AM at The Fortin & Pinette Group Funeral Home in Lewiston, Maine. Committal Prayers, and Military Honors will take place at a later date in the spring.
