Daniel George Lemay

LISBON- Daniel George Lemay, 69, passed away on July 28, 2026, at his home in Lisbon. He was born on february 22, 1957, in Lewiston, Maine, Daniel was the son of Roger Lemay and Lorraine (Poulin) Lemay. He grew up in Lisbon, where he attended Lisbon High School and developed a lifelong love for the outdoors.

Daniel was the proud owner and operator of Lemay's Lawncare & Driveway Sealing, where he built lasting relationships with customers through his hard work, dedication, and friendly personality. He took great pride in his work and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Daniel lived life to the fullest and was happiest when he was outdoors or surrounded by the people he loved. He enjoyed ocean fishing, lobstering, hunting, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, and riding motorcycles. He was also a longtime Corvette enthusiast and appreciated the beauty and thrill of a well-built car.

Daniel loved spending time with his friends, sharing stories, laughter, and making memories. Known for his great sense of humor, he had a way of making people smile and laugh wherever he went. His adventurous spirit, hardworking nature, and genuine kindness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Daniel is survived by his sister, Linda Hinkley; his brothers, Jean Lemay and his wife, Grace Lemay, and Gary Lemay; his nieces and nephews, Keith Hinkley, Heather Renn, Amy Parent, Bethany Custeau, Destiny Belanger, Hunter Lemay, Roger Lemay, and Brooklyn Lemay; many beloved great-nieces and great-nephews; and his cherished fur babies, Chip and Mocha.

He was predeceased by his parents, Roger and Lorraine Lemay; his brothers, Paul Lemay and Richard Lemay; and his brother-in-law, Charles Hinkley.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Daniel's life on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, Maine.

Daniel will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His infectious sense of humor, love of family and friends, passion for the outdoors, motorcycles, Corvettes, and the simple joys of life will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him best. Though he is gone, the memories he created and the laughter he shared will live on for years to come.
