David J. Lalonde

Dave was born on September 26, 1968, in Lewiston to John and Donna Lalonde. Dave grew up with his older sister Karen and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1987.

Dave would go on to marry his high school sweetheart, Anita Lalonde in 1989. Together Dave and Anita would have three wonderful children Douglas, Jessica and Desmond of which Dave was very proud.

Alongside Dave’s love for his family, Dave spent much of his time exploring his lifelong hobby of music, tinkering with the newest tech, and new found love for photography. Dave enjoyed frequent trips to the ocean and was always the leader on family trips to Disney. He will be remembered for his witty sense of humor and dedication to his family.

Dave spent his adult years working for Fairchild Semiconductor and Care Tech as a computer engineer.

Dave was predeceased by his parents John and Donna Lalonde. He is survived by his wife Anita, children Douglas Lalonde and wife Jessica, Jessica and husband Will Soper, Desmond and special other Avery Bunting, sister Karen and Jonathan Prete, and grandchildren Annabella, Everly, Ember, Madilyn Lalonde, and Thea Soper. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Monique Labbay, his brother-in-law David Labbay, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his in laws, who cared for him deeply as their own, Normand and Doris Gagne. He also had happiness in keeping contact with life long friends Keith Roy and Dave Kawliche.

In lieu of flowers or other contributions, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society in Lewiston or to the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn in his honor. Dave is now “in a galaxy far far away.” May he be in comfort and continue to watch over his family and grandchildren.
