David Normand Ouellette

AUBURN- David Normand Ouellette, 68, passed away at Brentwood Rehab & Nursing Center in Yarmouth on January 30, 2026. He was born at St Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston on January 04, 1958, to the late Clement Joseph and Madeleine G. (Carrier) Ouellette.

David attended Edward Little High School and graduated in June of 1977, before beginning his college career at the University of Maine at Orono where he graduated with his bachelor's degree in science in 1982.

He had numerous jobs, two of his favorites being the Park Manager for various State Parks throughout the state of Maine and also worked in the shipping department at LL Bean.

David is survived by his 2 sons, David Joseph and Jason Clement Ouellette, and his sister Louise.

In his free time, he loved being outdoors, skiing, and snowmobiling. He played hockey at UMaine and was a true Blackbear for life. His favorite thing in the world was the time spent taking care of his 2 boys.

He attended Lewiston Baptist Church and had a personal relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

David’s funeral service will be held on February 3rd, 2026, at 7PM at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A Plourde Pkwy, Lewiston, ME. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a State Park of your choice or Lewiston Baptist Church, 437 Main Street, Lewiston.
