She was born in Rochester, New Hampshire on February 4, 1928 the daughter of the late Harold and Medora E. (Gousse) Eaton and had been a resident of this community for most of her life.
She was educated in Auburn schools and was a graduate of Edward Little High School Class of 1945.
She was employed for many years as a fancy stitcher in the local shoe industry until her retirement.
She was a member of the New Auburn Senior Citizens, Ladies of St. Anne and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church.
Doris enjoyed reading and watching television.
She is survived by a daughter Diane Farrish of Beckley, West Virginia; and a grandson Michael Farrish of Beckley, West Virginia.
