

SOUTH PARIS- Dorothy “Dot” Chabot-Andrews, 78, of South Paris, Maine, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Market Square Health Care Center surrounded by her family after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
Born in Lewiston, Maine on July 15, 1939, Dorothy was the daughter of Fabiola and Carl Damon and one of ten children. Dorothy married her sweetheart Lucien (Pete) F. Chabot and moved to Turner St. in Auburn. They were married on July 20, 1957 and were together for forty years when Pete passed away on December 21, 1994.
She worked at Poland Community School where she worked in the kitchen until she retired at 52.
She was a loving mother, a wonderful wife and a great friend to many. She loved to cook and enjoyed spending time at church with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Ishihara of South Portland; two sons Lucien (Pete) Chabot Jr. of South Paris and Thomas Chabot of Portland; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers Carl Damon and Kenneth Damon; and two sisters Linda Moore and Pat Stone.
She was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband (Pete); her second husband Phil Andrews; four sisters Judy Lawlor, Rita Piirainen, Joyce Andrews and June Chabot; and by one brother Donald Damon.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Market Square Health Care Center for their compassionate care over the years.

Andrews- Died in South Paris, Maine on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Mrs. Dorothy M. age 78 a resident of South Paris. Funeral services honoring Dorothy’s life will be celebrated on Thursday at 8:00 PM with Pastor John Case officiating at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home. Committal services will be held later in the spring at Damon Cemetery in Buckfield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dorothy’s memory to the Faith Baptist Church 42 Washington St., N. Auburn, Maine 04210. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM prior to the service at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston 784-4023.
