

SABATTUS: E. Joan Bolduc, 80, of Sabattus passed away Saturday October 11 at her home. She was born in Randolph, ME on May 9, 1934 a daughter of the late Howard and Ida (Peters) Bulley. She grew up in the Randolph area and attended local schools there. For over 17 years, she worked as a fuel attendant for C.N. Brown and also served as a Sherriff. On January 14, 1967 she married Joseph Bolduc and they had many wonderful years together. She was very fond of crocheting, knitting, ceramics and cross-word puzzles. She also was a collector of beanie babies and teddy bears. She was a past member of Sacred Heart Church in Auburn as well. She is survived by her brother, Garfield Bulley and his wife Patricia, Joan's "Best Bud" of Chelsea two step-daughters; Patricia Gravel and her husband Gerard of Sabattus and a Mrs. Daniel Marcoccio of Lewiston. She also leaves behind three step-grandchildren; Jason Gravel, and Dan and Nicholas Marcoccio as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph, two sisters, Helen Pushard and Beverly Pottle and a brother George. Per her request, there will be no services and burial will take place at Maine Veteran’s Cemetery in Augusta where she will be placed beside her husband.
