My memories go back decades and back to Knox St. My mother and Edwina shared a special bond . We were like an extended family caring for you Ronnie, Rita and Venise. I will always remember her optimism and her laugh.

Rest In Peace Aunt Edwina.
She was a spark, a joy, a jokester, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and great friend to many.
We were the lucky ones to have her in our lives for all these years.
She no doubt is dancing, singing, telling jokes and playing the harmonica with my Dad.
She will be missed.

The look on her face when ALL THOSE CARS rolled by to wish her a Happy 99th Birthday ... and all those cards decorating her room when she made it to 100 ... what an accomplishment!

And the Facebook posts ... put up by one adoring grand-daughter ... the laughter ... the smiles ... dancing in her stocking feet in the kitchen.

Memere simply embodied JOY in this life ... contageous, outright JOY. She loved deeply and was so loved in return. May her family and friends be Blessed by the memories created by her joy.

Ronnie, Rita and Venise Fran and I are sad to hear of the passing of your mother. She is to me the example of a truly optimistic person. Always finding the goodness out of any situation or person. We both offer our sympathy and prayers.,God Bless. Clifford and Fran
