

He was born in Canada on June 28, 1923 the son of the late Archelas and Matilda (Michaud) Doyon and had been a resident of this community all of his life.
He married the former Jeannette C. Champagne on August 12, 1946; and she died on February 8, 2015.
He was educated in Lewiston schools and was employed in several lumber yards and mills until his retirement.
He was a WWII veteran having served with the U.S. Army and was awarded several medals.
Fernand enjoyed very much meeting his buddies at McDonalds in Auburn. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
He was a member of the American Legion and was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church.
He is survived by one daughter Lorraine Lock and her husband Ron of Lewiston; three grandchildren Michelle Poulin and her husband Roger of Lewiston, Dan Lock and his companion Kristine Soucy of Lewiston and Darren Lock and his companion Laura Bandura of Houston, Texas; two great grandchildren Erica and Ryan Webber both of Lewiston; one sister Florence Hasty and her husband Kermit of Augusta, Georgia; one brother Maurice Doyon and his wife Alice of Rocky Hill, Connecticut; and many nieces and nephews.

Doyon- Died in Lewiston on Tuesday May 24, 2016. Mr. Fernand B. age 92 a resident of Lewiston. A Committal service followed by military honors will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Mt. Vernon Road in Augusta. There will not be any visitation.
