Georgette C. Jalbert

PLYMOUTH, MA---Georgette C. Jalbert, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2015 at her home in Plymouth, MA. She was born in Lewiston on July 31, 1921 the daughter of Ernest and Aurelie (Dostie) Samson and the sister of Raoul and Paul. She attended St. Peter's School and Lewiston High School. She worked at the Pepperell Mill and later part-time at Cummings Cleaners in Lewiston. Georgette married Roger Jalbert on Feb. 5, 1949 and they made their home on Genest St. Georgette loved being home, but she also liked to walk, even as far as St. Peter's School where she served lunch. She and Roger also walked many miles in Plymouth, MA, where they would visit their daughter, Suzanne. Georgette is survived by her daughter, Suzanne and her husband, Pasquel and their son, Joseph. A Funeral Mass will be held for Georgette and Roger on Friday April 20, 2018 at the Basilica of Ss.Peter & Paul (upper church) at 11am. Committal prayers and interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Lewiston.
