Lewiston - Gerard J. LeBlanc 92, of Allen Ave. Lewiston died Friday April 11, 2014 shortly after arrival at C M M C with his son by his side.
Born in Rogersville, New Brunswick September 28, 1921 a son of the late Jean & Anna Richard LeBlanc.
He was married in September 1946 to the former Monique LaRochelle. She died October 8, 1987.
Mr. LeBlanc was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at The Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul. He served in the United States Army in the Pacifix Theatre during World War II.
He retired after 27 years of service from the Maine Central Railroad as a crane operator.
He is survived by his son Maurice F. LeBlanc of Lewiston, two brothers Armand LeBlanc of CA and Edgar LeBlanc and his wife Lorraine of FL and a brother-in-law Lucien Poisson of Auburn.
He was predeceased by
five sisters,
Marie, Alma, Aline, Nora & Therese
five brothers,
Yvon, Leo, Eric, John and Albert.
The family asks that all family and friends remember him in their prayers.
