Gerard J.P. Reny

Auburn - Gerard (Dee) J.P. Reny, 78 of Lewiston passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the Hospice House surrounded by his family.He was born in Auburn on January 2, 1934 son of the late Antonio and Yvonne Pichette Reny. Gerard worked several years for Philip Elmet Corp. prior to his retirement. He also worked part-time for Reny Property Management Inc. until the company was sold in March of 2006. Gerard married Madeleine Delorge on May 30, 1953 and they would have celebrated their 59th. wedding anniversary. Gerard is survived by a daughter, Susan Reny and her companion Sally Bartlett of Poland; three grandchildren, Chantel Reny, Danielle Reny and Benjamin Reny; four great grandchildren, Aizik, Kiley, MaKenna and Aleksus; a brother, Roland Reny and wife Rita of Monmouth; a sister, Carmen Poulin of Lewiston and several nieces and nephews. Gerard was predeceased by his wife Madeleine who passed away on March 12, 2012; two sons, Scott who passed away March 29, 2010 and Carl who passed away July 24, 2011; his siblings, Jeanne d'Arc Reny, Richard (Dickie) Reny, Jacqueline Pomerleau, Lucien Reny, Armand Reny, Marcel Reny and Monique Titus.
