He was born in 1955 to Watson G. and Maxine (Porter) Childs.
Harry grew up in Dixfield, Maine and married Barbara Billings in 1980. He was a respiratory therapist at several hospitals for 20 years, then returned to school to receive a degree in bookkeeping. He worked at the town offices in Greene and Turner for many years. He also established a LLC and enjoyed working as a landlord until his death.
He is survived by his son Michael and fiancée Cassandra Brooks; sisters Carolyn Jordan and Danita and husband Mike Minervino; and a brother Derwin and wife Bonnie; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and a son, Matthew.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 7-9 PM only at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway in Lewiston 784-4023.
