She graduated from Wilton Academy in 1953 and married Benedict Haines on November 28, 1953. She was a faithful tennis fan, enjoyed gardening, reading, her pets, and traveling extensively in Europe.
She leaves behind a daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Michael Veilleux of Brunswick, Maine, and a grandson, Matthew Veilleux.
She was predeceased in 2005 by her husband, Benedict and in 2025 by her grandson, Christopher Veilleux.
She was an office worker for several businesses in the Lewiston/Auburn area, retiring from CMMC Family Practice Residency at 76th High Street in 2000.
Due to her request, there will be no funeral services.
