

Jacqueline M. Belanger, beloved mother, daughter, and sister, 59, passed away quietly on April 22, 2026 at her Leominster, MA home following a long illness. Born in San Jose, California on October 17 1966, to Gerard R and Sylvia R Belanger (nee Langelier), she was the younger of two children and spent her childhood on both the West and East coasts as part of a military family before the family returned to Lewiston to settle permanently.
She was a 1985 graduate of St. Dominic Academy and a 1989 graduate of Mt. Holyoke College where she earned a teaching degree. She would go on to earn a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Endicott College in 2000 working in that field for over 22 years.
Jackie loved children and was a doting and creative mother; a talented artist, her drawings and decorations entertained their home throughout his childhood and her paintings adorn walls of the people she loved and was loved by. She played piano beautifully and was also an accomplished seamstress who made many of her own clothes as well as beautiful outfits, pillows, and throws for her family and friends.
She is survived and will be forever missed by her son, Nathaniel Cash, of Leominster, MA, her mother Sylvia Belanger of Auburn, and brother, James Belanger and his partner Tracy Tweedie, also of Auburn. She was predeceased by her father, Gerard R. Belanger.
Memorial services will be private. The family asks in lieu of flowers, that donations in her memory be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the ASPCA.
