JACQUES A ROY

Jacques A. Roy 1929-2022 Jacques A. “Pop” Roy, 92, died peacefully at his home, on January 21, with his family by his side. He was born August 27,1929 in Attean, ME the son of Alfred and Berthe (Marceau) Roy. He served in the Canadian Army and in the US Army. Pop worked in the maintenance department for St. Mary’s Hospital for over 34 years. He is survived by his loving wife Gloria (Gilbert) Roy; two daughters Suzanne Brown & her husband Billy and Nancy Bussiere; a son Roger A. Roy & his wife Elizabeth J; a step daughter Rochelle Bossie & her husband Mark; two stepsons Kevin Giguere & Angela and Shawn Giguere & his wife Cindy; 10 grandchildren Billy Joe, Jonathan, Sara, Kimberly, Kaitlyn, Christine, Katie, Thomas, Allison, and Jacob; 3 step-grandchildren Lauren, Katelyn, and Abigail; 6 great grandchildren Claire, Charlie, Tysen, Maverick, Abigail, Lucas, and Lydia; several nieces and nephews. Jacques was predeceased by his parents and 12 siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Friday January 28th at the Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus Street, Lewiston.
