James "Jim" R. Daigle, 80, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, following a heart ailment. Born on April 6, 1946, he was a beloved son of the late Carl (Lionel) Daigle and Angeline Chamberland.
Jim was a man of remarkable dedication and strength. He was deeply proud of his 49 years of sobriety and his active, lifelong commitment to AA. Professionally, Jim poured his hard - working spirit into his business, Daigle Siding. He took immense pride in his craft, finding true joy in making houses beautiful and turning them into welcoming homes for families in his community.
Full of life and always on the move, Jim loved the freedom of riding his Harley - Davidson trike. He had a deep admiration for eagles, passionately collecting figurines and watching them soar through the sky. A natural people person who never met a stranger, Jim cherished his retirement years walking at the Auburn Mall, where he brightened the days of fellow walkers with his easy conversation and warm smile.
Above all, Jim was a devoted family man. He shares a beautiful legacy of 60 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Doris (Roy) Daigle. He is survived by his daughter; Brenda Tardif and her partner Bob Deblois, Tracy Finnegan and her husband Vinnie. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Deven Finnegan and wife Lainey, Andrew Tardif and Brittnie Plowman and husband Josh. He also leaves behind his precious great - grandchildren, Mason and Claire Plowman.
Jim was reunited in peace with his parents, Carl and Angeline Daigle, his sister Joan Hesketh and grandson Madison Daigle.
