James E. Goulding Sr.

1930 - 2011

Lewiston - James E. Goulding Sr. 81, of 17 Goulding Lane, Danville died Wednesday August 3, 2011 at C. M. M. C. with his family by his side.

Born in Lewiston, January 12, 1930 a son of the late Fred & Emma Pike Goulding he worked in forestry and sawmill industry for over 30 years prior to his retirement.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses, tinkering with his truck and spending time with his grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

James will be remembered for his quick wit, extraordinary memory and his dedication to helping family and friends who appreciated it.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years the former Catherine L. Gray of Mechanic Falls whom he married August 18, 1951.

grandchildren and their spouses,

Catherine Bouchard and Donald,

James E. Goulding III and Angeliec,

Levi D. Poland and fiancee Courtney Woodward,

Nickolas R. Poland and fiancee Christina Wheeler,

3 great-grandchildren,

Kristina J. Bickford 9 yrs. old,

Avery E. Goulding 10 yrs. old,

and Eli James Poland 2 yrs. old,

2 brothers-in-law,

Glen Gray and wife Gloria of Norway,

Louis Gray and wife Carlene of Poland.

He was also predeceased by

a sister Cedelle Sanborn,

a brother Fred Chester Goulding.
