I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Sutton at a very young age, working alongside Jim and my grandfather Marcel Chaloux on stage constructions at the Festival De Joie. I recently had the opportunity of reconnecting with Jim at my father's funeral service in January. I recognized him right away after nearly 2 decades had passed. He was so sharp and vibrant; I am saddened to learn of his abrupt passing. My condolences to the family.

Jim and Lou were my landlords back in the 80's,on Webber Ave. They quickly became friends,and daughter Trisha would occasionally babysit my daughters. A better family couldnt be found. Over the years ,after moving to our first home,we stayed in contact and followed Trishas life and career. They will be dearly missed. My condolences to Trisha and family. Now they will share eternity together.

Our deepest condolences to family and friends of Jim and Lou . I knew Jim and Lou well , many year ago . When I would go dancing at the Heathwood in Lisbon , I would ask Lou for a dance, always a smile on her face . What so strange just a few months ago I met Jim and Lou at Shaws, she wanted a hug from me , knowing that I wasn’t much of a hugger, it was nice to see them with smiling faces. I’m at a lost and shock at their passing, RIP my friends, so sorry for your lost of two of the nicest people in this world.

Jim and I we’re schoolmates, I remember him as a true gentleman, he will truly be missed, Rest In Peace brother with your dear wife and thanks for your service to our country. Lou Mathieu.

It is with deep sadness that you have in such a short time lost both loving parents.
Your dad was a very sincere and dedicated man and always worked towards helping others through the Knights of Columbus.
Patty and I have fond memories of living on Webber Avenue when you and Shelly were little girls.
The many bean suppers at your house, and you guys visiting at Sebago State Park when we were camping.
I thought you said it best on your initial FB post telling everyone of his passing.
“Mom called him up to join her”
How lucky are they, passing without suffering.

I still can't believe he gone. My deepest sympathy  to you Tricia and your children. I loved your folks so much they like my family. We spent a lot Christmas  together . He truly was a good man.

Jim, I am still in shock.  You were an important person in my life. You were not only my boss at Cote's throughout my high school and college years, but you were also a great friend. We shared many talks and you were the only one that would order my "special" order at Sam's. Never did I see you angry or sad.  You always had a smile on your face and took everything with a grain of salt.  The love you and Lou shared was inspiring and your face lit up while talking about her, Tricia, or your beautiful grandchildren. I am going to miss your friendly face and your genuine love of life. I am going to miss you, my friend. Until we meet again.
