Jeanne Lorette Doyon-Goodwin

Auburn -Jeanne Lorette Doyon-Goodwin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 98 years of age at the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn, Maine. She was born on November 3, 1925 and was one of eight children born to Henri and Antoinette Reny Simard. She married Roland Doyon in April 1946 and raised there girls together, Rolande, Linda and Doris; their respective husbands being Paul Allarie of Lewiston, Me, Robert Higgins of Lakeland, Fl. And Richard Fraser of Inverness, FL.

Roland passed away in July of 1990. Jeanne married Dr. Ralph (Spood) Goodwin in 2005, who passed away in April 2009. Jeanne always said she had been blessed with two wonderful men.

Jeanne had 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.

She is survived by her family and two sisters, Theresa Dennis and Pauline Daigle, both residing in Lewiston, ME. Along with several nieces and nephews.

A heartfelt thank you to Schooner Memory Care staff and administration and the staff at Androscoggin Hospice House for their care and companionship.

Friends, family and caregivers are cordially invited to a time of visitation on June 27, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, located at 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, Maine. A funeral service will follow promptly at 11:00 AM. A burial will follow after the service to St. Peter’s Cemetery.
