Surrounded by family, Jesse, devoted husband and loving father was taken far too soon after a seven-month cancer battle. He was married for 14 wonderful years to Stacy Kubicki of Readfield, Maine. Together they had two gorgeous children, Ryne age 9 and Evelyn age 7.
This man was a passionate sports enthusiast who loved his Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox and Celtics but even more loved watching his kids sporting events. Rather it be football, hockey, baseball or karate, he was there to cheer on his kids. Before getting too sick, he even coached football, hockey and baseball. His wish for his son was to become a professional athlete and for his daughter to pursue her dream of being a doctor.
Jesse was said to have an infectious smile and heart of gold. He was loved by so very many. If he wasn't at a ball field then he could most likely be found at his camp on Maranacook Lake, where he enjoyed taking his kids, nieces and nephews out fishing. Jesse was the glue that constantly brought friends and family together to share good food, campfires (well more like bonfires), swimming, boating, fishing, skating, sports and of course lots of cards. He had a large French family and so many other families too; from softball, hockey, football, baseball and those special friends that were more like family!
He had a very successful roofing company that he took great pride in for twenty plus years. Jesse was a respected business owner who put his customers first. Through his career success he was able to be a wonderful provider for his family.
He is survived by his wife, Stacy Robitaille; son, Ryne Roscoe Robitaille; daughter, Evelyn Jean Robitaille; father, Norm Robitaille; mother, Barbara Wyman and her husband, Ray; sister, Jamie Robitaille; mother-in-law and father-in-law Karen Dube and Dave Harriman; sister-in law and brother-in-law, Angela and RJ Chapman; brother-in-law, Ben Kubicki and best friends, Tim and Mindy Fortin.
Please know that the family feels incredibly grateful for all of the outpouring of support and love. As most of you know, sports and being a coach were things that really meant a lot to Jesse. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider a donation to the Greene Youth Athletic Association Post Office Box 95 Greene, ME 04236.
Due to CDC State and Local mandates of limited public gatherings, it was decided to postpone Jesse's Services until a later date.
