

LEWISTON- Judith R. Cook, 57, of 4 Ridgewood Avenue, Lewiston died on Tuesday October 2, 2007 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center following a two and a half year illness with ALS. She was born in Lewiston on June 6, 1950 the daughter of Eugene E. and Mary (Sullivan) Tremblay and had been a resident of this community all of her life. She was educated in Auburn schools and was a graduate of Edward Little High School, Class of 1968. She was employed at Twin City Dental Lab for many years until her retirement in 2006. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Church. Judith loved traveling, fishing, skiing and gambling at Foxwoods. She was a good hearted person who most of all enjoyed her nieces, nephews and her family. She is survived by her husband Craig B. Cook whom she married on October 15, 1983 of Lewiston; her father Eugene E. Tremblay of Auburn; one brother Raymond Tremblay of Alexandria, Virginia; one sister Joanne Gauthier and her husband Gerald of Poland; two nieces Cynthia Chase of Poland and Dena Cross of Michigan; two nephews John Cleary of Oxford and Todd Cook of Whiting, Maine; several great nieces and nephews; and two great great nieces. She was predeceased by her mother Mary Tremblay who died on July 13, 1992. NOTICE Cook- Died in Lewiston Tuesday October 2, 2007. Mrs. Judith R. age 57 a resident of Lewiston. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday 11AM at Holy Family Church. Interment in the family lot at St. Peter's Cemetery.
