Kevin Kitz Francoeur

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Kevin Francoeur, age 59, of Lewiston, Maine. Kevin tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on July 26, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and fierce devotion to his family.

Born and raised in Lewiston, Kevin was known for his strong work ethic, his big heart, and his passion for motorcycles. The open road was where he found his peace—riding was more than a pastime; it was part of who he was.

Kevin worked hard his entire life to provide for his family. He took pride in being a provider, a protector, and a constant presence in the lives of those he loved. His children were his world, and he poured his heart into being the best father he could be. His love for them was boundless and unconditional.

Kevin was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He had a quiet strength, a quick wit, and a warmth that left an imprint on everyone he met.

He is survived by his children Zack, Kourtney, Taylor and Isaac, as well as many others whose lives were better for knowing him.

A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held on August 16, 2025 at Pinette & Lynch funeral home in Lewiston, Maine. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the man who meant so much to so many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kevin’s memory to the funeral home directly.

Kevin Francoeur may have left this world, but he rides on forever in the hearts of those who love him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 12 - 2 pm at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, ME. A memorial service will follow at 2 pm at the funeral home.
