

AUBURN - Laura M. Vachon, 79, of Sabattus died Sunday, December 2nd at the Hospice House with her family by her side. She was born in Connecticut, November 17, 1928, the daughter of John and Yvonne(St. Lawrence) Lavigne. She loved playing Bingo and Canasta, tending her flower garden, her cat, "Angel", but most of all she loved her family. She will be remembered for her bright smile, her sense of humor, and all the hearts she touched. She was truly a special lady, and was loved by all. Survivors include her longtime companion, Norman Crowley of Sabattus; �her daughters, Janet Elliott, and her husband, Rodney of Oxford, Kim Hayman and her companion, Mike Herrick of Wales, her sons, Robert Vachon and his companion, Ruth, Marc Vachon, and Jamie Vachon and his companion Kelly Grover all of Wales. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, her son, Fern Vachon, her grandson, Robert Vye, one brother, and and five sisters. VACHON died in Auburn, December 2, 2007, Laura M. Vachon age 79 years a resident of Sabattus. Funeral services honoring her life will be held Friday 11:00AM from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son. Burial will be in the spring at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Sabattus. In lieu of flowers donations are being accepted by the family to help with funeral expenses.
