Barry and I had so many happy times when we lived next to Leo and Lucille on Andrea Lane. I had a Persian cat named Ellie Mae who loved to listen to the WCSH weather and Joe Cupo .We were on vac in AZ and Leo was caring for Ellie Mae. He made sure he was there every night to watch Joe with her and one day put her on the phone so I could talk to her from the painted desert. Lucille and I got a monthly Country Sampler magazine and of course wanted everything.Leo got many things for Lucille and we would show my Dad tiny pics of things that we wanted him to make for us. He made both of us an outhouse t paper holder. Dad told Leo many times to throw those magazines out before we saw them and he would pay him. And then there was their white Persian Sammy. One day Leo came over, hands covered in blood, after trying to give Sammy medicine. After I intervened, Sammy got his meds !! I so miss the fun times we had and their friendship.
