

LEWISTON: Lorraine D. Bisson, 73, of Lewiston passed away Friday evening at St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston surrounded by her family. She was born in Lewiston on July 11, 1941 a daughter to the late Romeo and Eva (Pouliot) Berube. She grew up in the Lewiston area and attended local schools there. On August 4, 1962 she married Laurier A. Bisson in Sabbatus at Our Lady of the Rosary Church and the two started a family together. During that time, Lorraine worked various retail positions in the community still while tending full time to her family. She enjoyed working with ceramics, cooking and spending time at the ocean. She will also be remembered for her vivacious sense of humor. She leaves behind her loving husband Laurier of Lewiston, her two children; David Bisson and his partner Kathleen Perron of Auburn, and Kristin Bilodeau and her husband Jeffrey of Greene as well as her three grandchildren; Derek Bisson and Morgan and Brandon Bilodeau. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Raymond and Donald Berube and a sister Paulette Dufour. Visitation will be at Fortin\Lewiston on Saturday Dec. 6 from 10-11am followed by a Liturgy of the Word service at 11am also at the funeral home.
