

She was born in Lewiston, August 28, 1924 daughter of Antonio and Rosilda Boucher Desmarais. She attended Auburn schools. In her early days she worked at the Singer Sewing Center on Lisbon Street. She met the love of her life Roger Emile Bouley and waited for him to return from World War II. They were married on October 20, 1945. Lorraine spent the rest of her life as a homemaker and hand laced shoes at home while raising her four children. Lorraine was also known as an accomplished tailor that was second to none. She sewed many of her daughter's dresses and jackets for her three boys. She took great pride in her home, along with sewing, her flower and vegetable gardens and cooking for her family and guests during the holidays. Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Irene Luzi and husband Bill of Kissimmee, Florida; three sons, Roger Bouley and wife Sue of Litchfield, Norman Bouley of Auburn and Maurice Bouley and wife Louise of Greene; a daughter-in-law, Claudia Bouley of Lewiston; her brother Raymond Desmarais and wife Gilberte of Lisbon;11 grandchildren, Frankie and Tony Sasso, Scott, Matthew, Bobbi and Jonathan Luzi, Mark, David and Zachary Bouley, Skyler and Michael Bouley and two great grandchildren. Lorraine was predeceased by her beloved husband Roger, who she has been reunited with in heaven and two sisters, Jeanette Cote and Muguette Bourget. Lorraine's family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and caregivers at Marshwood Healthcare Facility for making her final years on earth very peaceful.
