Marion L. Jordan

TURNER- Marion L. Jordan, 83, of Turner passed away on Tuesday June 22, 2010 at her residence with loved ones by her side. She was born in Saugerties, New York on August 28, 1926 the daughter of Joseph and Susie Schaffer. Marion worked as a salad girl in a hospital in New York. She moved to Maine, picked apples, did odd jobs and raised two wonderful sons. During that time she was involved with Turner Lady's Extension Group and Boy Scouts. She had a great love for puzzles, gardening and people. She was the Red Sox's number one fan. She had an extended family of sons that hung around. Marion is survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many friends. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her especially by Adam, Kelly, Trooper, Lizzie and Lucy. She was predeceased by her husband Jack; and her two sons James and Joseph. NOTICE Jordan- Died in Turner on Tuesday June 22, 2010. Mrs. Marion L. age 83 a resident of Turner. Everyone is invited to attend a graveside service that will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the North Auburn Cemetery.
