Michael A. Bolte

He was born in Garden City, Michigan on November 25, 1961 the son of the late Hans and Mathilde (Schneider) Bolte.

Mike served in the United States Navy. He loved driving, traveling, camping and his dogs. Mike’s proudest accomplishments were his four beautiful daughters and the loving families they have created. His beaming smile could not be bigger when he heard his grandchildren squeal “Gampo” and run to him on visits.

He is survived by his four beloved daughters Elizabeth Greenleaf and her husband Dustin of Jefferson, Maine, Heather Doughty and her husband Irving of West Gardiner, Maine, Jennifer Roberts and her husband Eric of Nobleboro, Maine and Baylee Bolte of Cheboygan, Michigan; four grandchildren Finley, Arlo and Maia Greenleaf and Brenna Doughty; his brother Hans Bolte of Clarkston, Michigan; two sisters Lori Sorenson and her husband Rick of Port Charlotte, Florida and Peggy Vanderlinden and her husband Steve of Candor, New York; and by two nieces and two nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Hans Bolte who died in 2012 and Mathilde (Schneider) Bolte who died in 2001.

Bolte- Died in Sabattus on Friday, August 10, 2018. Mr. Michael Alan age 56 a resident of Sabattus. Funeral services honoring Michael’s life will be celebrated and a military honors service to follow will be held on Saturday at 4:00 PM at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will be held privately at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Mt. Vernon Road in Augusta. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-4 PM prior to the service at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston 784-4023.
