My deepest condolences to Muriel’s family. The news of her passing shocked me. I got to know her thanks to Brother Irénée Richard, her brother-in-law. I remember a woman who is smiling, joyful committed, generous and deeply attached to her family. May she inspire all of us!

Although I was not family, Muriel never hesitated to treat me like it, insisting on three kisses every time we parted. A true tribute to her kind heart. I will never forget sitting on the porch with her last summer as she told me how she volunteered as a nurse even in her retirement. Smiling ear to ear, I thought to myself, ‘what an incredible woman.’
My heart goes out to her family and friends, and I hope they are able to find solace in knowing that she lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in the sweetest peace.

I will truly miss volunteering with Muriel at St. Mary's on Monday afternoons. She was a wonderful, friendly person. She always shared with us pictures of her family and places she had visited with them. It was very apparent to all of us that she cherished her family.

Dear Danielle, Mark and Michelle,
I am so sad to hear the news of your Mother's passing. What fun we had with her and Phil on holiday. She made the best mashed potatoes I ever had! We had fun eating dinner there and playing cards afterwards. I did manage to see her last year just before we moved to Auburn. I have very fond memories of all three of you children. Your mother could talk non-stop of the exploits of her children and later grandchildren and would show proud photographs! I am stuck in lockdown in England until May when I hope to return. Otherwise I would be there at the Funeral Home to pay my respects. My love to you all! Valerie

Michelle, Mark and Danielle I don't even know what to say. That kind loving sweet fun lady that you all were blessed with calling Mom will live forever in each of you. My heart aches for all of you. You were so good to each other. Please let me know if there is anything you want or need. The loss of a mother is unimaginable for those that have not experienced. For those of us that have I can only say "take one day at a time, be kind and patient to yourself, support each other, love each other and in time i promise it will get better" Love Janice
