

Born on August 17, 1950, in Lewiston, Nancy spent most of her life in the Auburn/Lewiston area with many years also spent in Melbourne, FL. She married Norman Turner in 1968, and they were married for over 50 years until his passing in 2021. She pursued her passion for helping others by earning her nursing license from Central Maine Vocational Technical Institute. Her dedication to healthcare led to a career spanning over two decades at both Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) and St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. Throughout her years of service, Nancy was known as a tireless worker who always placed the care of her patients above all else. Her commitment to excellence and compassion fostered lifelong friendships with many of her colleagues, relationships she cherished throughout her life.
Family was at the heart of everything Nancy did. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Jeffrey Turner, James Turner and his wife Susan; and by her grandchildren, Colin Turner, Chloe Turner, and Mary Turner. Nancy also leaves behind her brother Richard Parlin and his wife Sue, and her sister Judy Dinan and her husband Chris. She was predeceased by her husband Norman, and parents, Donald Joseph Parlin and Jean Eleanor Parlin.
Nancy found great joy in spending time with family and friends. Whether gathering for celebrations or simply enjoying each other's company, these moments were among her most treasured.
A funeral service to honor Nancy’s life will be held at a later date.
