Nicholas A. Fecteau

LEWISTON- Nicholas Antonio Fecteau, 21, of Mechanic Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening, November 7, 2010 upon arrival at Central Maine Medical Center due to heart failure. Nicholas was the eldest son of Blake and Louise (Rioux) Fecteau and is survived by both his parents, younger siblings: Jenelle, Talitha, Mary, Gabriel, Christine, Jacinta, John-Paul, James, Monica, Lucia, Matthias, and Anna, his fiancée, Melissa Bacon, and many loving friends. He loved to write and was working on several stories. He loved to read, tell stories and jokes, and spend time with loved ones. He was charitable and his unique outlook on life inspired those around him. He was a role model for his younger siblings and made a plethora of fond memories with them.Nicholas had a zeal for life that he expressed primarily through his sense of humor and generous spirit. He had a wit that kept conversation lively and memorable. The Fecteau family is greatful for all the prayers and support given by Nicholas' army of family and friends. He will be greatly missed, frequently remembered, and constantly loved. NOTICE Fecteau- Died in Lewiston Sunday November 7, 2010. Mr. Nicholas A. age 21 a resident of Mechanic Falls. A Funeral Mass honoring Nicholas' life will be celebrated on Saturday at 11AM at the Basilica of Sts. Peter & Paul Upper Church. Committal services will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that Masses be offered for the repose of Nicholas' soul. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1-3 & 7-9PM at the Basilica of Sts. Peter & Paul Lower Chapel.
