Normand D. Potvin

Lewiston – Normand D. Potvin, 85, of Lewiston passed away on June 17, 2024. He was born on September 27, 1938 the son of Ernest L and Lilyan D. (Cote) Potvin. He attended local schools, then attended 4 years of college after serving 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He married Joan A. Tardif and together they started and raised their family.

Normand was an active member of the Prince of Peace Parish serving as a Eucharistic Minister and Alter Server at funerals. He is survived by his wife Joan; he was a proud father of 4 children Lisa Meservier and her husband Normand; John Potvin and his wife Heidi; Noela Hamel and her husband Charlie; and Joey Potvin; and his sisters Pauline and Janet. He was a grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, sister and nephew.

The family invites you to a time of visitation on Friday June 21st from 8:00am to 10:30am at PInette, Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston ME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on June 21st at 11:00 am at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus St, Lewiston. A committal service will take place on Monday June 24th at 1:00pm at Maine Veterans Cemetery (New), in Augusta.
