Omer L. Soucy

Omer Lorenzo Soucy 81 Lewiston passed away peacefully on February 4 2021 at his home with his loving wife by his side. Omer was born on April 2 1939 to the late Francis and Eva Soucy in Baker Brook New Brunswick Canada.

Omer is survived by his wife Marian of 58 years 3 daughters Diane Soucy and partner Rusty Force of Poland, Susan Soucy of Lewiston, Pauline Poliquin and partner Tim Day of Poland, 3 Sons Leo Soucy and partner Christine Dodge of Greene, Francis Soucy Of Lewiston, Mike Soucy of Lewiston: 14 Grandchildren Ricky, Kaela, Nikki, Josh, Francis, Tabby, Bianca, Shayne, Chantel, Jeffrey, Luke, Riley, Ashlynn, Kobie: 8 Great Grandchildren Jaycee, Noah, Madeline, Kylie, Abigale, Steven, Zeeva, Chloe: 2 sisters Francoise Martin of Lewiston, Janelle Morneault of Canada.

Omer served in the U.S. Army for 3 years, a time that he was very proud of serving beside Elvis Presley in Germany. On February 23 1963 he married Marian Carney in Lewiston Maine. He was employed by Hill Mills in Lewiston along with Paul Begin car wash until he started his business Soucy Construction and Twin city Sharpening and Carbide. He enjoyed building furniture, Gardening and also was into citizen band radio his handle was Cobra and his wife was Bumble Bee. He will be missed all the lives he touched.

Visitation will be at Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway Lewiston on Thursday February 11 4pm- 7PM

Funeral will be Friday February 12 at 11am at St Peters Church in Lewiston.
