

Patricia Small Adams, 78, of Bonnaillie Ave., Lewiston, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Schooner Estates. Born in Lewiston on Oct. 17, 1947, she was the daughter of Keith E. and Angela Dumais Small.
Educated locally, Pat/Patty graduated from Lewiston High School in 1965 and the Univ. of Maine, Orono, in 1969 with a BS degree in Secondary Education. She assumed the position in which she student taught, teaching Ancient History/English at Webster School in Auburn. On July 9, 1971 she married her life long love, Michael A. Adams.
After a period of years staying home to raise her children, she became the MLS manager for the Androscoggin Valley Board of Realtors. She was then employed for many years as the Development Director at the former St. Peter’s School Lew/Auburn.
Throughout the years, Patty was involved with her children’s activities. Additionally, she served a six year term on the Diocesan School Board, volunteered at the Great Falls Balloon Festival, served as a patient transporter at St. Mary’s Medical Center and volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store.
She is survived by her husband Michael of 55 years, her son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Emily Adams of NYC, her daughter and son-in-law Bethany and Bryan Earle of Lisbon, two grandchildren, Madison and Griffin Earle of Lisbon, her brother David and wife Jacqueline of Dubois PA., and two nieces (Kelly Jorgensen and Jennifer Seekings) and nephew Joseph Small, all of Pennsylvania.
Family and friend are invited for a time celebrating Patty on Monday, August 3, 2026 at The Fortin and Pinette Funeral Home 305 Alfred A Plourde Parkway in Lewiston, Maine. Visitation will start at 10 o'clock with a in house funeral service to follow at 11 am. Committal prayers will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery, 81 Mount Hope Ave in Lewiston immediately following the funeral service.
