

LEWISTON - Paul R. Harris, 69, a resident of Auburn died Sunday at Central Maine Medical Center following a long illness with his wife, Nancy by his side. He was born in Lewiston, August 7, 1939, the son of Franklin and Miriam (Marston) Harris.He attended Lewiston schools and Lewiston High School following school he married the former Nancy Fenderson on July 3, 1971. Paul was active in the Maine Republican Party as well as several Masonic organizations including the Rabonni Lodge #150; past patron of Mt. Olive Chapter #29 1999-2000 now known as the Pine Cone Chapter #26 and Kora Temple. He was also a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church of Lewiston. Besides his wife, Nancy of Auburn survivors include his mother Miriam Harris of Auburn; a nephew, Benjamin P. Leonard and wife Stacy of Raymond; sister in law, Jane Leonard of Poway, CA.;one aunt, Charlotte Marston of Auburn, and a sister in law Betsy Harris of Garfield, NJ. Besides his father, he was predeceased a brother, Franklin Harris, Jr.and by a nephew, Edward "Ned" Leonard. HARRIS died in Lewiston, March 8, 2009, Me. Paul R. Harris age 69 years a resident of Auburn. Masonic services will begin, MONDAY 7:30PM March 16th followed by funeral services with Reverend Casey Collins presiding from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son. Burial will be held later in the spring at Hillside Cemetery, Lisbon Falls.
