AUBURN: It is with great sadness, but a joyful heart the family of Paul Tremblay announces he went home to be with the Lord on Thursday July 19, 2018 at the Hospice House with family members by his side. He was born in Lewiston on May 6, 1946 and was raised by the late Carroll and Bertha Nottage.
He and his wife Jeannette met at the Rollodrome in Auburn where they had their first dance and then danced on forever. They passed down their love of dancing to their "daughters". This legacy is still bringing happiness to his family today. He always looked forward to having lunch with "the cousins" every Thursday and visiting with family and friends.
Paul will always be remembered for his love of collecting glass and crystal from various places. He also enjoyed growing flowers, cedars and shrubs which portrayed perfection. Playing cards was one of his favorite pastimes. He always made it fun and EXCITING as he created endless laughter and joy. He was famous for telling everyone it will cost you " five dolla !"
Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jeannette of nearly 52 years, sister-in-law, Lorraine Belanger and husband, Lucien, his three nieces who were like "daughters" to him; Lisa Ostrowski and husband, Glen, Tina Begin and husband, John and Tammy Brooks. He also leaves behind his " daughters' " children; Justin, Nathan, Letisha and Dante along with their six children. Nieces and nephews that he cared deeply about are: Charmaine, Rene, Paul, Francine, JoAnn, Michael, Melissa and Michelle.
