

LISBON- Pauline D. Allard, 83, formerly of 51 Mary St., Lewiston, died Wednesday morning September 10, 2008 at the Lamp Alzheimer's Residential Care. She was born in Lewiston on September 22, 1924 the daughter of Alfred and Rose Eva (Thibeault) St. Pierre and had been a resident of this community all of her life. She was educated in Lewiston schools and was a graduate of Lewiston High School Class of 1943. She married Lucien "Babe" F. Allard on February 8, 1947 and he died on January 25, 1998. Prior to her marriage, she was employed at Kresge's. She then was employed for many years at the Bates Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Holy Cross Church, Ladies of St. Anne of Holy Cross Church, St. Mary's Patronesses, Prospect Hill Golf Course, and a local bowling league. Pauline enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards, knitting and all kinds of crafts. She also enjoyed plays and going out to dinner with her friends. She is survived by three daughters Terry Hill of Lewiston, Muriel Moretti and her husband Bob of Great Falls, Montana and Monique Harvey and her husband Lenny of Lewiston; one son Paul Allard of Auburn; one sister Gabrielle Bouchard of Lewiston; eight grandchildren Michael and Kimberly Hill, Tony Moretti and Angie Clarenbach, Nicole McGough, Colleen and Monica Allard and Kristina Harvey; seven great grandchildren Jayden and Alexandra Hill, Blake Long, Dante and Josephina Moretti, Caitlyn and Halle McGough; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers George, Lionel and Rev. Romeo St. Pierre. NOTICE Allard- Died in Lisbon Wednesday September 10, 2008. Mrs. Pauline D. age 83 formerly a resident of Lewiston. A Funeral Mass celebrating Pauline's life will be held Saturday 11AM at Holy Cross Church. Committal services will follow on Monday 12PM at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Civic Center Drive in Augusta.
