

Auburn - Pearl D. Forgues 89, formerly of Oak Park Apt. Lewiston died Saturday August 30th at The Androscoggin Hospice House with her family by her side. Born in Lewiston March 4, 1925 a daughter of the late Antoine & Dorothy Coulombe Martel she was educated in Lewiston schools. She was married to Joseph Lionel Forgues May 4th, 1946. He died February 24, 2002. Mrs. Forgues was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at the Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul and the Ladies of St. Ann's Sodality. She worked at Custom Stitching prior to her retirement in 1987. She enjoyed family time especially with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mom will be remembered for the love she had for her family and her ability to make everybody laugh. We just never knew what she would have to say. She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Dumais of Auburn, Irene Beauchesne and husband Richard of Lewiston, her son Gerard R. Forgues and wife Doris of Turner, 6 grandchildren, Michael Dumais, Karen Ellingwood, Tina Dumais, Brian O'Connell and Stacy Angers, Chad Beauchesne, 8 great-grandchildren, her sister Doris Rainville of Auburn. She was also predeceased by sisters Regina Shepard and Viola Hansler, her brothers Fernand and Roland Martel. We would like to thank all the nurses and staff at Russell Park Manor and for the last few days of her life we would like to thank Dr. Austin and the staff at The Hospice House.
